It’s been a while since I was on social media writing or showing my jewelry. I posted photos of the places I visited this summer. I showed some gemstone necklaces and earrings on social media before I left, but I didn’t have any items with me, so sharing travel photos was the alternative. I hope you were able to see them and enjoyed them!!!
Upon my return, I focused on making new items for Fall-Winter 2016 and the blog took the back burner. I hope to be back to writing on a more regular basis about my jewelry, what I like and my designs.
Fall is already here and the colors for Fall2016 are dusty blue, pale grey, a warm bold red, taupe, a dark dusty pink, forest green, mustard, rust and a purple lavender. I will be working with natural gemstones in these color tones. Some of these pieces I will post on social media and the delavegadesigns website. Keep in mind that one color that goes with all the above color trends is Black. Thus, necklaces in Onyx, Black tourmaline and Black Rutilated Quartz, all of which are black in color or black tones, can be matched with all the Fall2016 colors.
Since I am working on creating Fall-Winter 2016 necklaces, bracelets and earrings, I started with gemstones in the yellow tones. The stones I have used are yellow jade, golden rutilated quartz, citrine and yellow beryl. The gemstone necklaces are one strand and multi strand necklaces. As a guide, Mustard Color or warm yellow gemstone necklaces, bracelets and earrings can be combined with clothing items in your wardrobe in navy blue, white, brown, purple, burgundy, and black of course. A necklace can change the look of an outfit in the same way as a scarf.
